Mandala Record Clock - Grasshopper by Eye Pop Art
The Mandala Record Clock is made from an upcycled 12" vinyl LP record. Reduce, reuse, and recycle! This clock is good for the environment. Mandalas can also aid in meditation or make you feel more calm and peaceful.
The painted record is assembled with a new quartz clock movement and simple black clock hands. A heavy duty hanger is attached on the back for hanging. The clock takes one "AA" battery (not included).
12" (30.48 cm) in diameter.
Using recycled and reclaimed materials as her canvases, Christine Claringbold discovered her ability to create mandalas, and this has become the basis of her work.
Christine is the Program Coordinator for Trillium Artisans, a nonprofit microenterprise support organization assisting low-income craftspeople who create with recycled and reclaimed materials. Christine is also one of Trillium's artisan members and her work can be found at their showroom in SE Portland.
