Ordering & Shipping Policy
EcoFriendOnline.com has united with vendors to offer a full range of eco-friendly products on one site. When you purchase from EcoFriendOnline.com, we, in turn purchase from our vendors for you.
To review an order you've placed with an EcoFriendOnline.com Merchant, enter your order number in the Order Status box located below the product menu on the left side of the Home page. In most cases, you will be able to make order changes within 30 minutes of placing your order, but once payment has been processed, EcoFriendOnline.com cannot revise or cancel orders.
Our Affiliates
EcoFriendOnline.com has formed marketing alliances with some other companies in the hopes of providing increased selection and better service to customers of both stores. These stores remain independently operated--they will fulfill your order and provide any customer service required.

Shipping
When you purchase from EcoFriendOnline.com, you pay immediately, online. Included in your payment is an estimated fee for shipping weight-based on UPS ground pricing. Most orders will ship out within 24-48 hours of the items being ordered and confirmed to be in stock by EcoFriendOnline.com vendors. We will inform you by e-mail if any items in your order prove to be unavailable.
Expected transit times for shipping method:
- Standard UPS: 4 to 14 business days after shipping.
Shipping times are not guaranteed and the actual performance varies by EcoFriendOnline.com vendor. Should you have any questions about your shipment, please contact us at support@EcoFriendOnline.com.
Shipping Charges
Rates are based on shipping each item individually and seperately. The total shipping estimate will be displayed on the last page of the order form, before you submit your order. Purchasing multiple items from the same EcoFriendOnline.com vendor will most likely reduce your actual shipping charges compared to what we list as the estimated shipping charges, as such orders may result in combined shipping per vendor. It is also possible our EcoFriendOnline.com vendor ships using different carriers or delivery options than we use when estimating. Upon shipping, our EcoFriendOnline.com vendor will notify us of the actual shipping charges of your order. At that time, EcoFriendOnline.com will adjust your final payment through our Merchant Services. If actual shipping charges differ more than the Support Team at EcoFriendOnline.com deems reasonable, we will contact our customer via email.
Tracking
Occassionally, orders are shipped directly by EcoFriendOnline.com. In this case, a trackable method (such as UPS) will have tracking information available in your Order Status information. Please check this information if available and read through the following options:
- If the tracking information indicates the package has been delivered, please check with your neighbors or family members. Packages are occasionally left with neighbors, a building manager, or are placed somewhere relatively safe such as your porch, garage, or even behind bushes.
- If the tracking information indicates the package is being returned to us, or if the address is incorrect, it may have been undeliverable.
- If there is no tracking information, or you cannot locate the package and it is not being returned as undeliverable, please e-mail us at support@EcoFriendOnline.com.
If you have a tracking or delivery confirmation number, you can track your package by entering your order number in the Order Status box located below the product menu on the left side of the Home page. The shipping method and carrier for your package may be listed the Order Status information and in your shipment confirmation e-mail. For the most often used US carriers, you will find contact information below.
Note: To speed delivery, shippers may not location-scan all of their shipments. When shipping volume is high, packages are processed in bulk, and the first time a package is scanned may be upon arrival at a regional hub near the destination, or even when the package is delivered. If you don't see any tracking data for your shipment, and the estimated delivery date has not yet passed, please do not be concerned.
Some shipments, such as Standard International shipments, are not trackable.

Undeliverable Packages
Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we issue a full refund (including shipping charges). We are unable to re-ship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you would still like to purchase items that were undeliverable, you are welcome to place a new order on our website. If you suspect your order cannot be delivered as addressed and you have not received confirmation of its return or refund after 4 weeks from the estimated delivery date, please contact us at support@EcoFriendOnline.com.
Our carriers may deem a package undeliverable for one of the following reasons:
• Incorrect Address. If the address is incorrect or outdated, the package is typically returned to us by the carrier or the unintended recipient. Please double-check your address carefully when placing a new order.
• PO or FPO address. If an APO or FPO address entered as an international address, and the package will not reach its destination.
• Carrier Does Not Deliver to the Address. The U.S. Postal Service does not deliver to some addresses. If you also have a PO Box address, it's best to use that address for your EcoFriendOnline.com orders. All orders with "PO BOX" in the address are automatically shipped via U.S. Mail. Also, if you (or your office) have put in a request for address forwarding, please note that the U.S. Postal Service only forwards first-class mail and magazines, and does not forward packages.
• Address Format. If a post office box address was entered in a format our system does not recognize, the package may be shipped through a carrier that cannot deliver to a post office box. To ensure that such packages are routed through the proper carriers, please enter the box number as "PO BOX" followed by the number. Also, if you're a private mailbox holder (use a local commercial mail receiving agency), do not use "Box" for your mailbox number, instead use # or PMB. This will ensure that your address is not mistaken to be a P.O. Box, and that orders can ship to you via means other than the U.S. Postal Service.
• Other Address Problems. If the order is being shipped to a prison, there may be delivery restrictions associated with the items or shippers. These restrictions are determined by the penitentiary and may vary.
In rare cases, it is also possible that the address label became illegible during the shipping and handling process, or that the carrier made a mistake and left the package at a different address then what was printed on the label.
• Failed Delivery Attempts. Most of our carriers make three attempts to deliver a package. It is generally up to the driver's discretion to determine whether a signature is required. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us.
• Refused by Recipient. If a gift recipient is not expecting a gift, they may refuse the package if they believe it was sent to them in error. If you still want to send these items, you may want to let the recipient know that a surprise is on the way.
Placing Your First Order
Placing an order with EcoFriendOnline.com is easy. (We do not accept orders by phone, fax, or e-mail. All orders must be placed online.)
Here are the steps you need to follow to place an order.

- Proceed to Checkout
- Sign In/Create a New Account
- Enter a Shipping Address
- Provide Payment Information and a Password
- Review and Submit Your Order
Most items offered on our website are fulfilled by or through EcoFriendOnline.com Vendors. Shipping costs will vary by type of order and by seller. The seller of each item in your order will be clearly noted on the View Shopping Cart page.
1. Finding the Items You Want
First you will need to browse or search for the items you would like to order. A keyword search box can be accessed by clicking on the blue Search tab at the top of our Home page. When you find an item that interests you, click the word "Details" to the right of the product description. Here you will find more information about the item.
2. Add the Items to Your Cart
If you want to order an item from EcoFriendOnline.com, click the "Add to Cart" button on the item's product detail page. Once you've added an item to your Shopping Cart, keep searching or browsing until your cart contains all of the items you want to order. Keep in mind, purchasing multiple items from the same EcoFriendOnline.com vendor will most likely reduce your actual shipping charges from the estimated shipping charges indicated on the Cart page, as such orders may result in combined shipping per vendor.
You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the View Cart tab at the top of every page of our website.
3. Proceed to Checkout
Take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your Shopping Cart. If you decide that you don't want to purchase a particular item right away, click the empty box next to the item total. In the same column, drop down and click on “Delete.” The item will be removed from your current Shopping Cart. When you're ready to place an order for everything in your Shopping Cart, click the "Proceed to checkout" button. You will be taken to the first page of the order form.
4. Sign In
Enter your e-mail address. (Keep in mind that the e-mail address you provide here will be the only e-mail address to which we can send information about the status of your order.)
5. Enter a Shipping Address
Tell us where you would like to have your order shipped. We are unable to ship to an APO or FPO address. If you are shipping to a post office box, please enter the words "PO BOX" before your box number to ensure that the order is delivered by the U.S. Postal Service.
6. Provide Payment Information and a Password
Choose a password for your account so that when you come back to EcoFriendOnline.com in the future, you can use the same shipping address and method of payment you provided during this first order. You will also be able to use your password to make changes to your order and account information. Make sure to choose something you will remember the next time you want to place an order. Passwords should be 4 to 16 characters long and can contain any combination of letters or numbers.
7. Review and Submit Your Order
Check the accuracy of all the information you provided and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the "Place Your Order" button to submit your order. Once you place your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail message. We will send you another e-mail message at the time of shipment.
Payment Methods We Accept
We accept Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. All orders must be prepaid.
We do not currently accept international wire transfers, PayPal, or Smart Cards. For grocery purchases, we are unable to apply manufacturer's coupons, food stamps, or any other payment method not listed above.
Combining Orders
It is only possible to combine orders for items sold by EcoFriendOnline.com when ordered by the same EcoFriendOnline.com vendors.
